About Us
National Exchange Company has been in existence for 45 years since 1979. Formerly known as Al Sheibei Exchange and Finance Company, which was one of the Pioneer Exchange Companies started in Qatar. It was managed by Syndicate Bank India in 1983. The name has been changed to National Exchange Company with effect from 09.10.1993. Effective March 2015, the company is managed by local management team to handle the business operations.
National Exchange Company belongs to Al Jabor Real Estate (ZAD Holding Group); owned by Royal Family Sheikhs – one of the leading business Houses in Qatar having various controlling interests in diversified industries like Banking, Insurance, Cement, Chemicals, Real Estate, Confectionary, Trading etc. To name a few, the Group consists of Prominent names in the market viz., Dandy, QBake, Ummsaid
Bakeries, United Bakeries, Qatar Detergent Company (QDC), Qatar Flour Mills (QFM), Qatar Food Industries, National Food Company, Ayyan Leasing Company, Qanateer Jewellery, Alcat Properties & Logistics, and many more.
